With all our intimate waxing, we use the greatly sought after non strip wax, which is a lot less painful than strip waxing. Non strip wax is a lot more pliable than warm wax which is removed using strips, ensuring a far less painful experience and also minimal lasting discomfort.
Disposable non strip waxes were created by Perron Rigot. Several of the formulas are patented. They constitute a new generation of depilatory waxes. These lukewarm waxes (they are used at around 37°C) dry and become plastic as they cool thanks to the synthetic resins (elastomers) they contain. They are applied in thin layers, are removed without the use of non-woven strips, and are disposable.

Disposable non-strip waxes are made up in large part of rosin and derivatives (tackifiers) to which emollients (beeswax, microcrystalline waxes, lanolin) are added, and – and this is what characterizes them – elastomers to provide the plastifying and cohesive effect.

Perron Rigot makes them in various versions – with creamy, honey-like, or fluid texture, scented or unscented, with or without rosin – to suit all types of skin and different areas of the body.

Perron Rigot is currently concentrating the bulk of its research efforts in the area of disposable non-strip waxes. This innovative type of wax has excellent effectiveness/comfort and quality/price ratios. That is what explains their impressive success with professionals and their clients.

Hair in waxed areas re-grows lighter, more sparse and slower. Following your first wax results can last 3 to 5 weeks depending on individual hair growth. Hair growth is usually minimal during the first two weeks but will noticeably increase in the third and fourth weeks, at which point you should be thinking about booking your next appointment. Leaving too long between waxing appointments will mean your hairs are longer and your next wax will not be easier than the first. As your body adjusts with continued waxing each treatment should become less painful. The after effects of waxing can be slight discomfort, small pimply rash and redness. These are all perfectly normal temporary reactions, particularly on your first wax. So, make sure you have it done at least 3 days before any holidays or hot dates.
You will find your hair will grow quicker in summer than in winter as heat stimulates hair growth. With regular waxing the length of time between appointments will increase. Hair re-growth will be finer, thinner and slower and may eventually stop growing – however, this depends on the density of the hair and will take some time.

WAXING OPTIONS 
Speedo
Also known as; men’s basic bikini or groin wax.  Any hair outside of the pant area will be waxed.
Brazilian
This includes hair from your shaft, the scrotum, most of the pubic hair apart from a small triangle, buttocks and buttock cleavage.
HollywooD
The Hollywood wax is very similar to the Brazilian but leaves no pubic hair at all.
Back, Sac & Crack
This includes removing hair from the tops of your shoulders & back and a Brazilian

Male Waxing Q&A 

Do I need to be naked?
Any areas to be waxed will need to be uncovered, however towels are provided for your discretion.
What if I get aroused?
So what...? Therapists are professionals. This does happen on occasion and usually passes quite quickly. Your therapist will just ignore it and get on with the job.
PLEASE NOTE: this is a professional wax service and inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. We are not there to play with it, just remove hair from it!!
Male Brazilian or Male Hollywood?
The choice is yours the brazilain leaves a small amount of hair above the penis, whereas the hollywood leaves no pubic hair at all.
Should I shave first? 
Not for at least 3 weeks prior to your waxing appointment. Remember, your hairs need to be a minimum of 5mm for the wax to adhere properly.
Does it hurt?
Yes, but not nearly as much as you think. If you are particularly worried, don''t do it all in one go, build up to the main event. Please note we use hot wax for all our intimate waxing as this is much less painful than warm wax and strips.
Painkillers?
Some guys take a couple of painkillers prior to their waxing, this does help.
Booze?
Don''t do it!! Its not a good idea as it dehydrates you, making it more painful. Also, your therapist will not take kindly to it.
Your next visit:
Unfortunately the hair does grow back, sorry! Your next appointment should be between 4 to 6 weeks after your first appointment. Leaving too long between appointments will mean the hairs are longer, making the treatment more painful than it has to be.
Aftercare Advice:
Avoid the following for at least 12 hours after your wax (24 hours if possible):
  • Sunbathing or sunbeds (this also applies to self tanning)
  • Swimming in chlorinated water
  • Jacuzzi''s, steam rooms and sauna''s - it''s hot in those places and bacteria LOVES hot and steamy
  • Scented products (including deodorant)
  • Beware of condoms and lubricants

Your follicles are exposed and therefore prone to infection, so if you wouldn''t put it on an open sore don''t put it on a waxed area!!
